Definitions
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between you and SkinCash.
Nature of the Service
SkinCash buys CS2 items from users and sells them on. We are a party to the deal, not an intermediary between two users: the Service does not offer direct user-to-user trading.
The Service is not connected with, endorsed by or affiliated with Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike and related marks belong to Valve Corporation. The Service depends on Steam being available, and we do not control Steam’s rules.
The Service is not gambling, a financial institution, an exchange or an investment platform. Items are neither currency nor securities.
The free tools (inventory value, inspect-link check, phase and pattern detection) are provided as is, are informational only, and are neither an offer nor a price guarantee.
Eligibility
By using the Service you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 and have legal capacity;
- you act on your own behalf and in your own interest;
- using the Service does not break the laws of your country;
- you are not in a jurisdiction subject to sanctions restrictions;
- you are the lawful owner of the Steam account and of the items you sell.
We may refuse service or ask you to confirm your age and identity at any time.
Account & Security
Sign-in happens through Steam OpenID. We never see or store your Steam password.
You are responsible for keeping access to your Steam account safe, for keeping your trade URL current, and for everything done under your account.
Never share your Steam API key and never confirm a trade you did not start. That is how most item thefts happen, and the Service does not reimburse losses caused by a compromised Steam account.
One user, one account. Creating multiple accounts to get around limits, collect bonuses or inflate affiliate rewards is prohibited.
Selling Items
How selling works:
- you pick items from your Steam inventory and see the offered price;
- you confirm the sale and send a trade to our bot;
- once the items arrive, the amount is credited to your Balance.
You confirm the trade in Steam yourself. An offer is valid for a limited time: if the market price moves before you confirm, the offer may be cancelled and the item repriced.
We may decline an item without giving a reason — for example if it is trade-locked, has no market price, or its origin looks suspicious.
Sending items to a bot outside the flow shown in the Service creates no obligation to pay for them.
Marketplace
Where the feature is available, you can buy items from the Service using your Balance.
A purchase is complete when the funds are debited. The item is delivered to the trade URL you provided; delivery timing depends on Steam’s availability and on Valve’s trade restrictions.
Purchased items may carry a Valve-imposed trade lock. The Service cannot lift it.
Pricing
Prices are set automatically from several marketplaces plus the item’s own properties: float, pattern, stickers, StatTrak counter and current demand.
Prices move constantly. A price shown in the interface is valid only at the moment it is displayed and until the deal is confirmed.
A promocode increases the payout by the stated percentage. One promocode applies to one account unless stated otherwise, and we may void a bonus obtained in breach of the rules.
All amounts are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Display in another currency is an indicative conversion at the current rate.
Payments & Balance
Funds on your Balance are not a bank deposit, earn no interest and are not covered by deposit insurance.
Payouts go to the details you provide. You are responsible for their accuracy: a transfer to wrong details, especially in cryptocurrency, cannot be reversed.
Crediting times depend on the chosen method and on the payment system’s load. Provider and blockchain network fees may be deducted from the amount.
We may hold a payout for review if a transaction looks like fraud, money laundering or a breach of these Terms.
Any tax arising from funds you receive is your responsibility.
KYC & AML
In some cases the law, a payment partner or our own controls require identity verification. We then ask for the data listed in the Privacy Policy.
A payout may be held until the check is complete. Refusing to provide the data is grounds for declining a payout and blocking the account.
Verification data is used only for legal compliance and fraud prevention.
Prohibited Use
You must not:
- sell items obtained unlawfully, by deception or from someone else’s account;
- use the Service to launder money or evade sanctions;
- create multiple accounts or inflate bonuses, promocodes and affiliate rewards;
- use bots, scrapers or automation to get around the Service’s limits;
- interfere with the site, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, or create excessive load;
- impersonate Service staff or mislead other users;
- provide false information during identity verification.
A breach leads to the account being blocked, bonuses voided and, where warranted, information passed to law enforcement.
Third-Party Services
The Service depends on Steam, payment and cryptocurrency systems, blockchain networks and market data providers.
We are not responsible for their outages, delays, rule changes or restrictions. Steam maintenance, trade restrictions and Valve-side bans are outside our control.
Links to external resources are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement of their content.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or the constant availability of individual features.
We are not liable for lost profit, market price movements after a deal, losses from a compromised Steam account, third-party acts, or circumstances outside our control.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability on any claim is limited to the amount you received or paid on the specific disputed transaction.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability to the extent it cannot be limited under applicable law.
Account Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted.
We may suspend or end access on a breach of these Terms, a suspicion of fraud, a legal requirement or a payment partner’s decision.
Where an account is blocked for a breach, funds obtained in breach of the rules may be withheld. Funds obtained lawfully are paid out after review.
After deletion some data is retained to the extent the law requires — see the Privacy Policy.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failing to perform because of events outside our reasonable control: Steam and payment system outages, blockchain network failures, cyberattacks, changes in law, acts of authorities, communication failures and natural disasters.
Deadlines for performance are extended for as long as such events last.
Changes to Terms
We may change these Terms. The current version always lives at this address and the date is shown at the top of the page.
We announce material changes on the site or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
A dispute is first addressed through negotiation: write to us and we will try to settle it. If that fails, the dispute goes to the competent court at SkinCash LLC’s place of registration.
Where your local law gives you consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract, those rights remain.
